the Dorian De Long Arts & Music (DDAM) Scholarship
The Dorian De Long Arts and Music Scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school student who intends to pursue advanced education in the study of arts. The scholarship (currently $1,500-2,000) is awarded annually in memory of Dorian De Long, a passionate educator and education activist, who believed in the power of the arts to transform lives.
The Dorian De Long Arts and Music Scholarship encourages students to continue an arts education, creating a well-rounded student who has critical thinking skills, effective communication skills and creative problem solving abilities, leading to a stronger individual and community.
The mission of the Dorian De Long Arts and Music Scholarship is to support individuals engaged in arts programs, strengthening both the individuals and the communities in which they live.
